How to use uno overlays seamlessly on your iPad

All uno graphics are designed to be easy to use, and we’re always updating our library based on your feedback. But, we know that overlays.uno isn’t 100% optimized for devices like your iPad, which is why some of our users encounter a few annoying issues.

A lot of our users use their iPad to control overlays as they live stream, so they can lessen the CPU burden on their computer. Anyone can log into their uno account on their iPad browser, go to My Overlays, and open the overlay controls interface. 

However, due to the iPad’s gesture controls, when you drag the overlay’s preview screen up to make it smaller and access the overlays’ control panels, you can end up accidentally pulling up the dock or even closing the browser window entirely. That can be incredibly fiddly to manage – and very frustrating. 

Luckily, you can bypass these issues in just three steps, while making it even easier to access the overlays you want!

Add a shortcut to your favorite uno graphics

By creating a shortcut to your chosen uno graphics on your iPad’s home screen, you can use the overlay controls interface just like an iPad app. Here’s how to do that in three easy steps: 

1. Log in to overlays.uno and go to My Overlays to find the overlay you want. Tap the overlay to reveal the dropdown menu, and Select “Open” to open the online controls interface.

2. Tap the share icon to open the dropdown menu, then tap “Add to Home Screen”. 

3. You can rename the shortcut something memorable. Then, tap “Add” to finish. 

You can now find the app on your iPad’s home screen next to all your favorite apps and shortcuts!

When you’re ready to live stream, just tap on the uno overlay shortcut to launch its online interface. You won’t see a browser window, and you’ll now be able to drag the preview screen up and down freely.
